About
I started my career from the bottom up. Initially as a kit assistant for a couple of small OB companies in London. I then joined ITV in September 2000 and worked at 'The London Studios', one of the most resepected camera training studio facilities in the country, where my camera training began in earnest. I went freelance in 2004 as a jib assistant, transitioning to full time operating some years later. I am now an owner of my own jib kit and also specialise in operation of remote cameras.
After establishing myself in the freelance market I have been proud to have worked on many high profile live shows and events. I'm experienced coping with real time pressure, problem solving and dealing with unforseen issues. I pride myself on being calm under pressure, adaptable across many genres, conscientious, able to understand my role within any shooting set up and delivering consistently to a high standard. Having worked with some of the most talented and respected camera operators and directors over the years I have gained a wealth of experience at the highest level of television production on some of the biggest shows on television.
